8 inches? Really? Geez I might as well be living close to my Dad up north. Although 8 inches isn't nearly as bad as having 5' frozen drifts on your back deck. Glad your grocery fairy (and I hope it wasn't you!) got out to the store. You did put ALL of the essentials on the list, right? ;)

PCB - thanks for the offer but the grocery fairy just left to get milk and other supplies including veggie lasagna stuff. :-) And it may snow another 8 inches starting tomorrow evening according to some weather sites...... Don't think you'll be getting out this way for a while.

Well, if it's nice tomorrow, maybe the Lasagna Fairy will deliver some lasagna to you. ;)

PCB - I love leftover lasagna! Now I am wishing I had the ingredients.

Still deciding on the what to bake and I have to do the Food Lion grocery deal list first before I can start on anything. I'll let you know.

And yay for sandwiches for dinner!

Last night we ended up having soup and sandwiches since I've been converted to the "Sandwiches for Dinner are Okay" club lol! We even splurged on some deli. Roast beef on a Kaiser roll for me, liverwurst (yuck) and tomato soup (double yuck) for DW.

I'm trying to decide between some homemade chicken noodle soup with biscuits and lasagna. We're not going out in this weather, so I have plenty of time to make the lasagna. The bonus of either of these meals are leftovers! :)

We are just about done with the cake I made last week. Time to think of something else to bake. Faye, please post what you end up baking...

Tonight we are having crab cakes on rolls with lettuce and tomato, pasta salad & grapes. I am definitely baking something today as well. Not sure what yet......
