Faye - My daughter's love it and I haven't served it to a person yet who didn't like it! We might even have it again this week for Superbowl Sunday since it is easy and a crowd pleaser. I hope it is a hit in your house, too! :)

Tonight is my default meal - pork chops, stuffing, and green beans.

newhouseapex - thank you for sharing your recipe! I really like the addition of the pepperoncini peppers. I am definitely going to try it. My girls would love this. - Faye

Faye Prosser - The beef sandwiches are soooo easy. In the crockpot put in 1 1/2 cups beef broth, a 16oz jar of pepperoncini peppers....juice and all don't drain!, a sliced onion, a minced clove of garlic, a packet of good seasons Italian dressing, and a teaspoon of rosemary. If you don't want to do the good seasons packet, a teaspoon of italian seasonings would probably do the trick. Cook on low for 8 hours, shred and put on crusty bread...add provolone or mozzarella if you like! It is like a tangy french dip sandwich...even my 1 and 4 year olds love it! LOL

raesmom1612 - you REALLY don't feel like cooking if fast food is on your menu! I think we all have days like that. I know I do!

Gator Girll - since all those option sound delicious, I think you are in good shape no matter what you pick. :-)

And I had the last of the veggie soup I made Sunday for good. Wish I had made more!

Im thinking gourmet buffet tonight, dont feel like cooking (i get that way at times lol) choice of, pork chops smothered in cream of mushroom soup with mashed potatoes and green beans, spaghetti, or breaded chicken strips (using italina bread crumbs) with rice and veggies.......McDonalds, Burger King, Bojangles, Cook Out and Wendys are also options if the DH is interested.

I'm in a quandary. I've had a hankering for chicken lettuce wraps since last week but due to circumstances beyond my control haven't been able to make them yet. I'm also in the mood for chicken and dumplings and beef stew. I think I'll make the lettuce wraps tonight with egg rolls. I think I'll make the beef stew tomorrow (maybe in the crock pot) and then make the chicken and dumplings on Friday night. But we'll see what happens!

Nakabi- how fun! I almost added Chicken Divan onto our menu, too! Brings me back to the 70s... :-)
