RFB - I will do the post with the Wednesday meals post tomorrow. :-)

Faye- are you doing a special post for Thanksgiving meal plans this year? I love reading them... well, and I got some amazing deals at Target today, and we're having the most frugal Thanksgiving dinner yet :-)

Nakabi - your Thanksgiving sounds like a lot of fun.
I am having a salad with grilled chicken tonight. We are spending Thanksgiving at the beach.

Nakabi- that sounds amazing... can't wait to hear all about it!

Tonight we're doing black and blue salads. There was a ton of chicken and steak with coupons on them at Target today. Plus I used a Laura's coupon (for the steak) and had the $3 off $15 fresh meat Target coupon.

nakabi - WOW! What a wonderful Thanksgiving you have planned! That's a big group of folks but it sounds like a fabulously international celebration! Happy birthday to J. Can't believe he is 2 already. I know what you mean about carpool. I am also looking forward to having 5 days of not having to get up at 5:30 am to get the school routine going.

Those BLTA's really sound great. They might be on the menu with tomato soup tomorrow since I have a couple avocados that should be perfect by then. Thanks for the idea.

I second Ascherer. Please be careful and keep warm!
We are hosting Thanksgiving per my family's request so I've been planning the meal and haven't been doing a lot of cooking. Yesterday J turned 2 and we had a huge birthday party for him here. The entire weekend was crazy busy and im glad I will have a few days off from having to take D to school. lol. last night I made turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, avacado sandwiches last night with leftover frozen chicken noodle soup and tonight we are having chicken chipotle paninis on sourdough bread I made last week. There is enough tomato basil bisque I made for the party leftover for 2 servings so we will eat that and the kids will have lentils. That will completely clean out the leftovers. Now to start cleaning for my 35 people coming over. We will have 9 countries represented and I'm looking forward to some authentic Tibetan food!!!

Tonight we are having Butterball turkey sausage sauteed with peppers and onions. Sides of sweet potatoes and green salad.

ascherer - enjoy your Gourmet Buffet tonight and Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

Last night was chili from the freezer. Tonight is the gourmet buffet. Everything has to go to make room for Thanksgiving cooking and leftovers.

To all that are traveling - please be safe. To all that are staying put, keep warm. To all - Happy Thanksgiving.
