Nakabi- Yes! My DH and I go almost every week... he loves it too! I love buying dishes for my food photography/blog there!!! And on Penzeys, I also love their whole nutmeg, and their berbere is one of my new favorites- I got a free sample from a coupon on a past catalogue (but it's very spicy!)

RFB-I've bought my saffron from Penzeys and they do have great quality! Aaaah, you are a fellow Marshalls fan???? Love me some Marshalls and TJ Maxx!!!

Nakabi- I ended up buying some ground from Penzeys. They're really great quality, and I can't find my mortar and pestle after the last move. I did see some recently at Marshalls that were pretty affordable :-)

wow, we all had the same idea today. I have taco soup (cooked pinto beans in the pressure cooker), frozen corn from the garden, frozen tomatoes from the garden, packet of ranch dressing, chopped jalepenos, chopped kalamanta olives, small handful of taco seasoning I made in bulk last week, ground venison, chopped onion from garden, minced garlic. It smells great! we will have it topped with tortilla chips, greek yoghurt, and shredded mozzarella. D was out of school today so we made homemade snickerdoodle cookies. (D went to his friends house to play last week and his Mom offered him a cookie. He said " I'll have one but only to be polite. My mommy doesn't buy anything in a box. She makes everything homemade. " I was SO embarrassed when she told me even though she thought it was funny.

teecee~Funny about your mother in law, sounds like something my mom would do lol. My sisters have been texting me all day about the weather in Buffalo. The city is shut down (very rarely happens) and there is a state of emergency in effect. So far 4 ft of snow has fallen and they are expecting an additional 48-60 inches!!!! One of them said the National Guard is on the way in!!! I feel so bad for my family.....but im glad im not there :)

Since it will be cold for us tonight (19 degrees YIKES) and DH is working, Rae is sleeping with me tonight so that we can cuddle and keep toasty lol

Stay warm jdouglas......I hope it doesnt come your way!!

barbiedoll1967~I put the chicken in the crock pot from frozen. I mix 1/4 cup of water and the packet of dry italian seasoning and pour it over the frozen chicken on high for 4 hours. After 4 hours I pour out half of the "juice" and shred the chicken. I add the cream cheese and cream of chicken soup and let it go on high for another hour or 2. It can be served over rice or egg noddles.
