Homemade pizza with a store bought crust. Had to have something quick after DH softball game.

Gator Girll - your early Thanksgiving sounds wonderful! I was craving homemade dressing over the weekend. Maybe we will have a mini Thanksgiving later this week. Thanks for the idea. :-)

We're having an early stab at Thanksgiving. Turkey breast, corn bread dressing, either corn or peas, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Don't know why I felt like making this...subliminal advertising?

Meredith- fun! We dream about that too :-) Oh, and did you graduate in 88? Or more likely were you born in 88? 88 was a great year for me (the best HS graduation ever!)

RFB - We've had chickens for 6 years now. My husband is always wishing we lived in a place where we could have cows and pigs and horses and everything else. For now we just enjoy our eggs :)

Everyone's meals sound great tonight! Thank you for posting them.

Nakabi - YES to "sugar dough!" :-)

Jdouglas - I'm with your dad except I don't like any ground meat in my meatballs. I'm fine with the herbs. lol I hope the mac & cheese goes over better. How's your mom doing in rehab?

Meredith88- that sounds amazing! I wish we could have chickens where we live! When I was younger I was in 4-H and we had chickens... and a pig and horse. So much fun having fresh eggs every day!

Tonight my husband is making a traditional Brasilian meal. Rice is always in stock at our house, black beans from the bean sale at Food Lion a few weeks ago, eggs from our chickens and lettuce from somewhere. Simple, cheap and delicious!

DH has requested 3 nights of salad... one just veggies, one with steak (got on markdown today at HT) and one with chicken. So boring, but a bit more healthy than we've been eating the last few days... glad the pot roast leftovers are gone now :-)

Nakabi- great idea on the cod... I think I'll do that on Friday!
