Nakabi, Will you share your recipe for the Mandarin pineapple cake? That sounds wonderful.

I am having leftover from my lunch - chicken salad wrap and sweet potato fries. Way to hot to cook!

Losltp-my mom wants to buy it for her so bad lol She mention's this QVC frozen dress everytime I say something about the party. I haven't seen it yet though.

The bags are the same size a the LF reusable grocery, I do like the banner idea though Faye. At the location we use there are 2 huge walls that we never know what to do with them, I'm thinking snowflakes, banners and "icicle's" (made using plain white plastic table clothes cut into icicle shapes) Can't wait!!!! I promise to take lots of pics for you ladies.

Tonight we are having Southwest turkey wraps with honey turkey, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and salsa. Sides of rice and watermelon.

Raesmom - If the bags are small, you can string them up and use as a banner.

Great meals tonight everyone! Thanks you for sharing them. I especially like the sound of Mandarin pineapple cake. :-)

    COOL !
How big are the bags ??
they might make good party loot bags if you have the loot to fill them.
QVC has the CUTEST little dress from FROZEN ( pre-order for now ) -
It lights up and plays music !
Bad side : can NOT wash or dry clean ! That bothers me - to spend $37 just throw the outfit away when you pry it off the child !

Nakabi~lol that is so funny, sounds like me with my obsession with Bak.......(dont want to spell it out, i may start another epidemic LOL)

Losltp~Hi! Dad is good, not 100% but at least he is home. Rae is much better, allergies are being controlled with her meds (thanks for reminding me, i have to call and get her a refill!!) Thanks for asking about us. I know how it is with those night shifts, DH works 3 this week, friday, saturday and sunday......not fun!! I found the CUTEST reusable shopping bags (FROZEN themed of course) For Rae's bday at Target for $1!! I am going to go later today and get a few more, not sure how I will use them, but im sure I'll figure something out.......maybe they can be the actual party bags!! Any ideas anyone?

I purchased the BOGO bacon wrapped meatloaf at HT over the weekend-for the price it was a good deal for an easy meal for our family. Fall is SO busy. We'll have that tonight with potatoes and a veggie.

I agree, beans and rice are a must with any Mexican food!
Tonight it's leftover smoked beef ribs, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, Caesar salad, and Mandarin pineapple cake for dessert. I made an 11x13 container of mac and cheese on was gone by Sunday night eaten by 4 people. Mr. Nichols requested I make some more for yesterday's family reunion. I made 2 of the same size containers. It was all gone! Can you tell the Nichols LOVE mac and cheese? Except for my kids and I :)

    Hi !
For me any mexican food needs beans !
some fresh corn in the bake might be nice too
How is your Dad doing ??
    How is Rae ??
Probably chicken here tonight too just for me - DH working til midnight this week.

LOSLTP~I was going to suggest the same thing. Usually when I do anything taco (tacos, taco bake, burritos, fajitas) I do rice and beans for sides.

Tonight will be chicken maybe in the oven (depends how hot it gets today) with rice and veggies on the side.
