Jdouglas - Your shrimp pasta dish sounds fabulous! And Sharknado 1 was a B movie on SyFy last year and it developed a cult following. Part 2 comes out tonight on Syfy at 9 pm and I am all geared up to file coupons and watch flying sharks terrorize NYC. It's hilarious and absurd and perfect coupon filing entertainment! lol Here's more info in case you really want to know more:

ascherer - Stuffing sounds so good right now. I think I need to make some this weekend. Thanks for the idea.

Tonight is spaghetti (Ragu BOGO at HT earlier this week) with ground turkey I found in the freezer and sliced squash & mushrooms in the sauce. I might make garlic toast if DH wants some.

Last night was pork chops, stuffing and butter beans (limas).

Tonight is going to be one of my pasta concoctions. Shrimp cooked with shallots, lots of julienned basil, tarragon, white wine, butter, a 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes. Finish with some heavy cream -- just enough until it turns a pretty salmon color. Serve over angel hair. So good. We might have a salad on the side.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick, so tomorrow might be chicken veg barley soup. We have lots of blueberry coffeecake left, too.

    Faye -- Sharknado??

Raesmom - I thought of you tonight when we were finishing up the cheesecake from the freezer. :-)

We had a change of plans tonight. Last night we ended up having egg sandwiches so tonight we had the turkey burgers I had planned for last night, with pasta, salad and watermelon.

Tomorrow is the breakfast casserole....probably. lol

Now I must prepare for the big event tonight: Sharknado 2! I kid you not.

Nakabi and Faye~yall are killin me LOL!! I just know that some one at home is going to ask for baked ziti and someone else is going to ask for either a hawaiian pie or a cheesecake (i ALWAYS cook for everyone when i go home......i have 6 sisters, 1 brother and a billion nieces and nephews so lots of food to make lol) So I am trying to stray away from the baked ziti.....dont want to have a baked ziti overload :)

Twoboysandadog~thanks for the recommendation on the buffalo chicken wraps. Could you believe that although hubby and I are born and bread from Buffalo NY, we hate hot and spicy wings (i dont even like chicken) and sauce LOLOLOLOLOL!!! But we do love some honey mustard and bbq sauce (i swear we are from down south hahaha) So i will do either honey mustard and/or bbq chicken in the slow cooker, that should be about 2 meals for us one day wraps the next day sandwiches. Thanks!!

Nakabi-your dinner sounds delicious and glad you liked the potato salad

Raesmom1612- our family loves buffalo chicken wraps with chips and salsa as a side. I throw a couple chicken breasts in the crockpot with buffalo sauce and cook all day. Make wraps with lettuce, cheese, ranch dressing, etc. Quick and easy!
