jdouglas- thanks! It's Diana@aspoonfulofluxe.com And thanks to you, too Nakabi!! Can't wait to try your recipe :-)

Tonight is spaghetti. As for the age thing, things do start to go after 40 and just get worse after 45. I can't wait to see what 50 brings. NOT!

RFB, I'd be glad to forward the recipe to you -- just need your email address.

RFB-no problem at all. I love rye bread, but don't make it often so when I do make it, I make several loaves.
My body breaking down and overheating are definitely things I am NOT looking forward to as I get older lol.....

Jdouglas- do you mind forwarding that to me? (hope you don't mind, Nakabi!) I've never made rye bread, and miss it!

Faye- LOL on the car comparison (although I am so sorry about your car!) I also couldn't help but imagine it breaking down AND overheating, in my case too... ugh on the 40s! :-)

Nakabi, thanks so much for the rye bread recipe! I'm really looking forward to trying it (as soon as the temps drop to a reasonable number). I remember being 30, working a crazy demanding job with ridiculous hours. going to school at night and being so exhausted. I was single with no kids. I don't know how you do it! I give all you moms so much credit.

Dinner last night was so good. Strip steak on the grill, smashed red potatoes, and corn-tomato-green bean salad with lemon, lemon pepper, and EVOO. I'm thinking about spaghetti carbonara tonight with broccoli mixed in. I usually put the bacon in the oven, but I hate to heat up the whole house. I might nuke it instead.

Faye-I remember when I thought 30 was old. Now I am 30 and I DO feel old. LOL. I guess having 4 kids in 5 years doesn't help either lol....
Raesmom-you can have spaghetti, just have a little bit with a big salad. Losing weight is all about portion control and exercise :) you can do it!

jdouglas-if you read this, I emailed you the recipe for the rye bread you requested last week. Sorry it took me so long. I don't look at my phone often once I get home from work since it's oftentimes a zoo at my house :)

Hotel food is good Faye, not the best, but it works. How's dad??

Left over spaghetti for Hub and Rae tonight, Ill be eating a salad......gotta drop some pounds before the big trip home :)

Nakabi - you are soooo young! Just wait until you are in your 40's - then stuff really starts to break down - much like my car. :-)

No idea what we are having tonight. Maybe we will enjoy the free light dinner the hotel offers in the evening.

I woke up and felt my age! Who would have thought 30 could feel so old??? LOL
Tonight is leftover loaded baked potato salad from last night, smoked chicken, grilled artichokes, and sauteed onions, yellow squash, and zucchini.
