    Leftover hotdogs/hamburgers grilled yesterday. Leftover veggies and potatoes.

    Jdouglas-re the bracciole, I've gotten it at WF before, but it was expensive. Great idea on having them slice it from the London broil. I bet WF would do that since they know (or should know), what bracciole is.

    jdouglas- I'd totally ask your butcher to slice it... I bet they'd be happy to, especially at HT. And if you end up making it, let me know how it turns out. I still crack up thinking about the Everybody Loves Raymond braciole episode :) Would love to try it some day!

    Faye, re the Philly cheesesteaks, sometimes I've seen "shaved" beef at the meat counter at HT. That might work well also. Great idea about the roast beef from the deli.

    I have been on the hunt for a long time for meat for bracciole (Italian beef rolls). It is very, very thinly sliced beef round. I've thought about asking the butchers at HT if that's something they can slice for me when they have London broil on sale, but I've been afraid they'd look at me like I had three heads, since bracciole isn't exactly local cuisine. I wonder if it would work with super rare roast beef from the deli sliced a bit thicker than normal sandwich style...

    Something I can do on the grill I hope! We've been having an awful lot of pork lately, so maybe boneless chicken breasts. I have some in the freezer that shouldn't take too long to defrost. They will marinate for a bit first in EVOO, lemon juice, garlic, and some herbs. Possible side is salad with fresh fennel, radicchio, oranges, and gorgonzola with a pomegranate molasses dressing. Maybe rice. That's all I've go so far. My brain hasn't kicked into dinner frenzy mode yet. ;)

    These all sound so good... getting hungry!

    We have a bit of steak leftover (plus green onions), so I think I'll do a Mongolian Beef-like stir fry.

    Twinredheads- I have some quinoa, and that sounds really great with this stir fry... thanks for the idea :-)

    Soccer practice tonight so we will have something quick and easy. Stuffed red peppers with ground turkey, quinoa, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. (Already made, just have to bake them) We will have Caesar salad with them. Oatmeal raisin cookies for the kids.

    Stir fry and quinoa. I get my quinoa from BJ's in bulk to cut down on the cost a bit. The stir fry veggies are Steamfresh from a recent HT sale.
