I have been meaning to try your pizza dough - maybe this weekend if we do not fire up the grill ( 70s??)

My mother's peanut butter cookie recipe had buttermilk in it !
The one I use most often is from Betty Crocker's cooky book (yep spelled that way - published in 1963) - it has the usual stuff: flour both white & brown sugar , etc.
Your with just brown sugar & peanut butter sound like lace cookies ! I better they are delicious !
Thanks for the KingFlour website !
I am going there now to drool and gain a few pounds. lol

teecee, I make my pizza dough, and have kept it in the fridge for 5 days with no problem. I just have to deflate it occasionally. This dough recipe does not freeze well, but I know many others here do freeze pizza dough with great results. It may just be my recipe.

I love your cookie ideas! Do your PB cookies have flour in them? I used to make a recipe many years ago for PB cookies that was so good. It was basically just PB, butter, brown sugar, and I can't recall what else, but no flour. Yummy and old-timey. :)

For a sugar cookies recipe, try They have wonderful recipes, and will specify details like crisp outside, soft inside, etc. Their cookie cookbook is quite good, too.

How long can you leave the pizza dough in the fridge before using ?? Does it freeze well ?? Thanks

according to our marriage license, I have to make chocolate chip for hubby every year ( his mother's version of the toll house recipe that I have tweaked over the years )

I make peanut butter when I can stand to see the propane man cry - he says he has visions of his beloved grandmother when he eats my cookies .

I would love a good sugar cookie recipe - crispy outside but not hard - soft and melty but not gummy in the middle

Homemade sausage pizza tonight. I've been looking forward to it all day. Made the dough on Sunday so it would have time to develop its flavor.

Busy baking day today here, too. I have 3 doughs made, and the amaretti cookies done.

I'm having a hard time deciding what kind of cookies to make this year. What kind do you make? (A thread idea, perhaps?)

Thanks for posting the eggplant recipe, lkkersh!

Tonight it's breakfast for dinner for us. Need any easy meal since it's a very busy evening. Eggs with spinach and mushrooms, turkey bacon, toast, pear slices.

Left over pizza from a free papa johns coupon I received for buying gift cards.

Also, I meant to post my slow cooker Moroccan eggplant recipe last week, since there seemed to be interest. I had a crazy week to say the least. Anyway heres the recipe I follow

    1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large eggplant, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large brown or yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 medium carrots cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 can of whole tomatoes in juices ( I use hunts fire roasted)
    1/2 TBS minced garlic
2 tablespoon ras el hanout (or other Moroccan spice blend) 1 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon hot chili pepper/cayenne pepper ( I use hot chili flakes) Salt & pepper ( to taste)

Brown onions (optional) in pan. Toss in slow cooker with all other ingredients. Cook on low 6-8 hours. I usually serve over brown rice, though orzo or other small pasta would be delicious.

Having some friends over so I'm making lasagna using(free venison since my husband hunts), ricotta cheese (free from HT over a year ago), (thats where most of your cost is in lasagna). free tomatoes/parsley/onions/garlic from the garden.
Caesar salad, garic bread. Made some marshmellow creme peanut butter fudge with the kids last night and will have it for dessert tonight along with fresh berries and creme.
