Homemade Potato and Ham soup. I had only to purchase some ham as I had everything else already stocked in my kitchen. And, if all goes well, a loaf of homemade bread using my new bread cloche that I got for free as a tester for Cooking Club of America.

I have no idea what I am having tonight. The hubby has to work late so I'm on my own which often leads to the best meals when I just throw ingredients together. Myabe I will pick up some ideas from this thread today.

RFB - We are having a similar frugal and easy meal! Chicken teriyaki, brown rice, steamed veggies, egg rolls. Using chicken that I batched cooked in the slow cooker 2 weeks ago and froze.
