jdouglas - it's very complicated. Get a pen:

I squirt Wish-bone or Kraft light Italian dressing on to each piece of chicken in the slow cooker.

Did you get all that?! :-) Seriously - that's it. A little garlic powder and pepper and in 5 hours - BAM - they are ready to go.

I have to stop chatting now and finish up the Harris Teeter list which has taken way too many hours to do today.

Chicken fajitas for us too...using a freezer meal from a Wildtree workshop a few weeks ago. Meat and veggies for it bought on sale and using tortillas from a sale many moons ago. Cheese from B2G3 sale at HT.

So it turns out we really are going to have chicken. Specifically, baked chicken drumsticks and leftover potato salad from last night. I hid enough veg in the potato salad to get by without another side.

I just discovered yet another 2 turkey breast halves in the freezer, so I think tomorrow is going to be turkey sandwiches on homemade white bread. Plan B will be turkey/stuffing/gravy and a veg, but I really like turkey sandwiches with turkey made at home (not a fan of the deli kind).

Faye, when you say you batch cook your chicken in Italian dressing, what kind are you talking about? A vinaigrette?

Chicken parmesan, LOL! I need to use the chicken filets that I took out of the freezer. Thanks to the last SD at HT I have enough sauce and pasta to last a year.

aahellis- good to know, I'm not a huge green pepper fan either, but will try them in the garden!!!

I'll be the first to change it up...
Grilled pork chops w/ grilled pineapple and rice sautéed w/onions, garlic and Green pepper from my garden. I have never been much for green peppers until we started to grow them ourselves and they are great!
