Nakabi, since I got back from up north, the state of my pantry has been pathetic. I don't think I even have a potato in the house. But I do have some cauliflower buried in the freezer -- thanks for reminding me!

DW just brought the chicken in off the grill and gave me the "now what" look as in "aren't you making anything with this".

Roasting the chicken that I now hope is still good that I defrosted on what day? We used up the sweet potatoes I had planned to have with the chicken when I cooked/burnt the Easter ham. Most of it was salvagable and is now in the freezer. I'm sure I can do a little freezer diving and come up with something to have with the chicken. ;)

nakabi, it is a greek style chili made in Cincinnati. Cincinnati is known to be the chili capital because there is a chili parlor just about on every corner making their version of Cincinnati style chili. My husband and son were born in Cincinnati, OH and request this style of chili. I personally don't care for it. It has a little bit of unsweetened chocolate, some cinnamon, all spice and cloves in it along with the usual chili seasonings (chili powder, garlic, cumin, etc). It is served over spaghetti and optional toppings are onions and cheese and beans. People either love it or hate it, there is not much in between.

Chicken breasts on the grill (LF last sale), yellow squash(LF produce clearance) and fried cabbage (HT produce clearance). The cabbage is cut into about 1" squares and "fried" in a non-stick skillet with just a drizzle of olive oil and sea salt.
