Smoked turkey (was .49/lb a few months back on clearance), broccoli casserole, leftover twice baked potatoes, sliced fruit salad, and might put one of those sister schuberts mini-loaves in the oven

Always, LOL -- thanks for the pasta rolling tip! I have a KA too, and have read good and bad review about their pasta roller/cutter attachments, so I haven't splurged yet. I keep looking at the old fashioned kind that you clamp to the table and has the handle, although the motorized ones are very appealing, and may save me from blowing out my shoulder trying to crank out the pasta.

It's kind of pricey, and I just have to think very long and hard about whether I want to dish out the big bucks. I still haven't committed to a slow cooker/pressure cooker, and I was talking about that months ago.

Jdouglas- I rolled these by hand. I have a kitchenaid mixer, just wasn't sure if I wanted to invest the money for the pasta attachments. After rolling dough for the ravioli yesterday, I would have to say that I will be investing in the attachments by my birthday.

Erin, thanks for reminding me that I also have a ham that has been sitting in a lonely back corner of the fridge since just before I was away for almost a month. Time to cook that baby!

Juanita, pasta is postponed until tomorrow, I think. You and Rae come on by around 5:30 :)

Tonight, I took a pork loin roast out of the freezer that I bought a while back, whole, on sale. I like to get the whole ones when they are around $2/lb, and then divide them up. I usually get 5 roasts out of one loin, and often leftovers from each roast. This one is going to be sliced thin and turned into pork cutlet piccata with lemon, parsley, and capers. Not sure what the go with is just yet.

Always, do you roll your pasta dough by hand or do you have a pasta machine of some sort? Still trying to decide if and what kind of machine I should get.
