jdouglas ~ desirae and I will be by around 5:30ish for our pasta dinner. I am on vacation from cooking this week (yay) since my DH is out of town until next sunday. Rae and I will be taking any invitations to dinner :) as well as eating leftovers from last week

Flying, I'm very jealous of your garden. I grew arugula and mesclun a few years ago, and it was the best salad I ever had!

Breakfast for dinner sounds good, Faye, although after the weekend you've had, a coupon for a free dinner out would be even better.

Last night I used up some leftover grilled chicken and reincarnated it into spaghetti sauce that I put fresh garlic (sauteed) and fresh parsley into. Amazing what a couple of fresh ingredients can do to a can of crushed tomatoes.

Tonight, since I managed to forget we had chicken last night is -- you guessed it -- chicken again ;) this time roasted chicken drumsticks, baked sweet potatoes, and a salad with EVOO, balsamic, and gorgonzola cheese. Ridiculously easy, cheap, and tasty. I'm thinking about a pasta concoction of some kind for tomorrow, something primavera-ish, because I have some nice fresh veggies I want to roast and add to the pasta.

That is great service, Erin! It's a free-for-all this weekend at my house. I worked late last night so hubby make the kids light beef hot dogs. Tonight I am thinking breakfast for dinner with eggs, turkey bacon, crescent rolls and fruit salad.

    Erin - sound scrumptious!

Smoking a turkey (from the TG good deals) Sunday! Sister Schuberts Mini Loaf (FREE from Triples), and salad using lettuce grown in our garden :)

Tonight we went to Cowfish. OMG Good! We had a coupon for a free appetizer and after we asked for the recipe for the Crab Rangoon dip, the manager came over and gave us $5 off coupons for our next visit. The food was fantastic! The service was even better!

Sunday, we are having friends over for lunch, so we are each making our own stromboli ($0.99 dough at HT, B2G3 free cheese, Jennie-O turkey sausage $0.75 during super doubles - marked down and coupon), mushrooms, zuchini, garlic, and onion from Aldi. Serving with a salad - Earthbound Farms on sale and $0.75 coupon that tripled at HT this week. Newman's Own dressing was $0.50 with coupon and eVIC coupon.

Dinner tomorrow will probably be leftover ham and tabouli.
