What's for dinner tonight?

Here's the place to share your meal ideas for the evening, post where you bought the ingredients frugally and even share a recipe if you would like. If you need some inspiration for your own dinner tonight, this may give you some helpful ideas on what to make with all the great deals you have bought on sale recently.

What's on your menu tonight?

We are having a creamy chicken and pasta dish baked with sauteed mushrooms, onions, garlic and green peppers, penne pasta, Crockpot chicken I batch cooked last week, parmesan and light alfredo sauce.  I am serving it with a side salad and cantaloupe.

    Your double sauce pizza is so creative, flying! We often put different toppings on each half but I have never done two sauces. I'll have to try that next time.

    Pizza (HT crust sale) -

    Half is Ragu (from the B2G3 a while back) topped w/ several cheeses (B2G3 sale)

    Other half is Barilla alfredo sauce (recent sale/ZVR), topped w/ Canadian Bacon (on clearance at FL this afternoon), and Al Fresco Chicken Feta Sausage (pulled out of freezer, from a couple of SD's ago), topped w/ McCormic grinder garlic salt blend, McCormick Perfect Pinch Italian seasonings (both Free from Teeter recently), and smoked salt (from Savory Spice shop, not cheap, but a little goes such a long way!)

    Annnndddddd....the timer is beeping...woot!woot!

    We are having a beef and bean taco casserole that I pulled from the freezer. I'll be eating mine over lettuce with some crunched up tortilla chips to make it more like a taco salad.

    Monday: fish sandwiches (HT BOGO and coups a month ago), homemade fries, spinach salad (Wal Mart $4.98 organic tub). I need to use up some of the older frozen items in the freezer...lots of fish this week.

    springtime, has a recipe for sausage, penne and peppers. I am sure that the penne can be substituted for rice.

    We are having pork chops cooked in crock pot with cream of mushroom soup, brown rice, steamed brocoli.brought chops last SD they were bogo and I had a 1.00 of q, minute rice was free.

    We are having pasta carbona made with asparagus and proscuitto, and a side of sauteed kale. The menus today from everyone sound sooo good! You're giving me lots of ideas. :)

    We are having spaghetti (pasta and sauce bought at HT B3G3 free), cheesy garlic bread (homemade french loaf given to us by a neighbor) and salad using veggies bought on sale at Aldi.
