RaleighFoodBlogger - Agree w/ Faye & JDouglas, sounds very delicious!
    ATurner25 - It's a good week to use those time-saving leftovers.
    JDouglas - YUM!!!!!!
Yesterday was a dash about day, missed chatting! Packed & nibbled celery, carrots, peanuts, apple and banana between stops; left family with a crockpot concoction: leftover cauliflower florets, two different types of Progresso soups, can of Campbell's smoky gouda soup as base, & extra can of Cocina Latina black beans for protein (necessity 'mother of invention' here), clementines (Aldi) on loose greens (Kroger freebie) & last of choc-Krispie treats. More running today, family again to 'fend' for themselves 'armed' w/ bake temp/time instructions & to-be-baked dish of ziti (prior HT deals using ground Cooked Perfect Meatballs mixed w/ jarred marinara sauce), and Waldolf on greens. May each of you have a wonderful day amidst your own dash!

RFB, I agree -- the roasted sweet potatoes and bacon sounds great in the salad. I love roasted veg in salad.

I think tonight we are going to have a one dish meal of rice, roasted asparagus, sautéed shrimp with lemon, garlic, parm.

I was at Trader Joes in North Raleigh earlier this morning, and they had gorgeous whole stalks of Brussels sprouts for $3.99. I bought two. I think I will do some kind of sheet pan dinner with roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted sweet potatoes ($0.29/lb at HT!!), and maybe Italian sausage tomorrow.

Aturner25, I've been working at making space in my fridge too. It's a losing battle! LOL :)

Tonight we are having spaghetti with marinara sauce and Boca veggie crumbles, spinach salad, garlic bread.

RFB - the roasted sweet tater and bacon would be delicious additions to your salad I think!

Today and tomorrow we're having chicken and goat cheese salads. I think I might add in some roasted sweet potatoes plus some bacon to make them extra yummy!
