    So our dinner tonight is free thanks to HT! We got one of their in-store pizzas. The guy making it messed up our order, so he very graciously gave it to us for free! And the NY Bakery Boys cookies we were treating ourselves to for dessert rang up wrong, so they were free too!

    Lest anyone think we were being greedy with free cookies after we already got the free pizza, we were on the DIY checkout line, and the cashier assisting told us said they were free when they didn't ring up. :)

    Ooops - clicked the 'add' button too quickly. Tonight is a one-dish main course: moussaka. Sides: carrots with tzatziki, pineapple chunks and dessert: plum jam thumb-print shortbread cookies. We're trying a new herbal tea that has the whole family's interest: candy cane tea ... with hopes of sugar plum fairies dancing in our dreams tonight. Wishing good eats and sweet dreams to all!

    Coupon4Me - I do toss the dense fat layer that collects on the surface of homemade stock /broth. Ybaverage2003's soup idea is a great one. Another soup idea is Zuppa Tuscana -- goes over well with those in my family who are fans of Olive Garden :) -- and I use whatever greens I have on hand ... just adjust the hard-boil/bubble-time according to the sturdiness of the greens.

    I would use pork stock just like any other stock. Use it to make rice or mashed potatoes. Use it to make a soup...shredded pork & noodles would be yummy.

    We are having ham sandwiches with chips and cucumber slices with ranch.

    Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with pork stock? I made a huge pork roast a few months ago and kept the stock. I froze it and just took it out as I needed room in the freezer. There is a huge layer of fat on top. I hate to throw it away so welcome ideas as to what to use this for.
