Observant, JDouglas13, RaleighFoodBlogger - Count me in that lima bean line -- and corn to boot -- may I have seconds?

RaleighFoodBlogger - Celebrating your new job!! Congratulations :)

Faye - lol with you... Raesmom1612 - Hope your wine dinner is delish! Your ravioli dish sounds great -- I've got some to use and may borrow your inspiration.

JDouglas13 - I had my mouth watering for your crock pot brisket, too! All the ingredients sounded perfect. Cheering for you!!

Raesmom - LOLOL Enjoy your wine for dinner - also very little effort involved there. :-)

congrats on the work from home opportunity RFB!! My fav part of working from home is rolling out of bed 5 mins before I need to log in and sitting in my pj's all day :) having baby ziti around doesn't hurt either lol

I missed the memo for sandwich day so we had a pinterest inspired baked ravioli dish. I did 2 layers of Frozen ravioli covered in shredded cheese and spaghetti sauce served with salad and bread. Minimal effort and everyone is fed...

Tomorrow will be a bottle of wine for me and no idea what for the others!!

RaleighFoodBlogger - Congratulations on the awesome work from home job!! I hope you love it!

jdouglas13 - I am wondering if it was the tomatoes that caused an issue. I never cook meat with tomatoes in the slow cooker so I'm not sure. I usually use beef broth, onions and mushrooms and lots of spices like pepper, garlic and McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning and that's it. Sometimes I add carrots and potatoes as well. What was wrong with it? It could be that you just don't like the texture of things cooked in the slow cooker. My oldest is that way. She loves London broil on the grill but not when cooked in the crockpot.

miacarre - Good luck to your little guy!

lindabates - good for you! For me, what really helped was tracking everything I ate every day to stay within the caloric, protein and fat goals I had set. I also went relatively low carb and it really did work for me. I actually need to kick it back in again after a couple of months of slacking. We can do it together!

Subs were awesome, the oldest daughter has 1/2 to take for lunch and we had a footloose left over... I really wanted it, but resisted DETERMINED to succeed on going low carb and losing at least 75 pounds... just started on Wednesday.

MIACARRE - Tell your son good luck. I am sure he will play well. Enjoy the no cooking weekend.

Jdouglas- I'm with you on the lima beans :) And so sorry to hear about your brisket.

How fun on Sandwich Day! Sounds delicious. But, we did our roast pork tenderloin with corn casserole and broccoli. Busy day... and I got a job!! I'm officially now a Virtual Asst. which is perfect so I can take care of my folks and work from home (thank goodness, as we are out in the booneys and will not go broke buying gas :) So grateful I can still be at home to cook (and work in my pj's if I want to lol!)
