    meredith88 & jdouglas13 - you are such rebels! I hope you enjoyed your non-chicken dinners. :-)

coupon4me - you are not mean at all - just being a good healthy mom! And I love green peppers and onions on pizza. With a ton of mushrooms, of course.

I will join JDouglas in breaking the chicken streak. I'm on my own for supper so I'll be having BBQ pork. We went to Red Hot & Blue with a free meal coupon on Monday and I could only eat half my sandwich. So tonight I'll have the other half of my sandwich with some leftover vegetable tian.

jdouglas13 - my extensive knowledge on hispanic foods (ok - my ability to Google) has turned up the following from creativehomemaking.com:

"The difference between traditional salsa and pico de gallo is in how they are prepared. Traditional salsa is cooked, and pico de gallo is fresh not cooked. Both can contain a variety of fresh ingredients, but generally pico de gallo has fewer ingredients. "

Here is the link with more details and another yummy looking recipe for pico:

OK folks at Ascherer's work -- go hush now for a while. :) Hope that helps Ascherer! So annoying when people with normal sleep patterns try to shoebox those of us with our own unique sleep times. LOL. It usually ends up in a bout of insomnia for me.

I hate to break the chicken pattern, but I think we are having leftover steak over salad tonight. Sorry everyone!

So, what is the difference between pico and salsa? The pico recipe sounds good minus the jalapeno and cilantro, plus some Italian parsley. DW might even eat it??

Faye - it is okay. I think your caffeine may be the only thing keeping me awake now and I appreciate it. Someone tell my work to hush for a little bit and I will sneak away. At least dinner is ready. (=^-.-^=)

raesmom1612 - NOOOOOOO - don't do it! Go with the chicken for the sake of the blog. We need you with us! LOL I think I have had too much caffeine now.....

    ascherer - have a good nap. :-)

I may be the one to break the chicken streak lol again keeping with the holiday theme today I'm thinking tacos which can either go beef or chicken. If it's chicken I need to get it in the crock pot now lol. We will do cheese quesadillas and chips with salsa

Good Morning Faye. I'm glad the caffeine kicked in. I'm on the other end and am hoping for some sleep soon. And I will have some just as soon as I fold this load of laundry and work stays quite.
