Pork chops homemade "shake n bake" style-my son loves them that way and I just use bread crumbs I find on sale and add my own spices. We will have remaining leftover basmati rice, leftover roasted asparagus (OMG so good) and maybe another veggie if that's not enough. At this point I've now cleaned out all the meat I had stocked up and need to start over. We just have an extra fridge rather than a big freezer and have been working our way through what we had.

Yay for grilled asparagus! My favorite way to cook it. DW has been a bit under the weather, so I am the temporary grillmaster. Last night we had asparagus and marinated chicken on the grill. Very good, and the chicken was only minimally burnt.

Tonight, the leftover chicken will probably make an appearance in the form of a dinner salad. Details TBD.

Raesmom, I will definitely need a pick of your girls in their Easter finery! I think Target was running some sales on kids' Easter clothes, and at one point, I think there was a coupon for $xxx off ?? Not sure if that was this week or not though.

So as mentioned before- grilled asparagus again- can't wait and maybe a nice steak- it is so nice outside. Maybe me and my granddaughter will do some more work in the soon to be garden. Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day!!

trichardson0621 - YAY! I am so happy to hear that you liked the asparagus! Great idea to cook it on the grill with the foil. Tonight will be the 3rd night of roasted asparagus in a row for us. lol We are also having leftover homemade mac & cheese (it was soooooo good) and I just put a mushroom and Swiss breakfast casserole in the oven so we will have that as well.

Raesmom - good luck on the dress shopping and enjoy the park!

Y'all are making me want to jump on the asparagus band wagon lol

Last night we had frozen pizza bc we took advantage of the beautiful day and went out to find Easter dresses for the girls and hung out at Pullen Park for a bit. No luck yesterday in the dresses so round two is today. I'm sure we will also make another appearance at the park too.

    Enjoy the day everyone!!!
