jdouglas13 - now that will be funny to see!

LOL - I'm not totally back to cooking yet -- I just now got the chicken browned and into the sauce. Dinner ETA: not much before 9:30. ;)

See you tomorrow! I'll be the one yelling stuff out before anyone else, who politely raises their hand, has a chance to answer. ;)

barbiedoll1967 - tonight I cut up 2 big boneless chicken breasts into chunks. Then I put them into a non-stick skillet and added the taco seasoning (I mixed 1/4 cup water with 1/2 taco seasoning packet). I also added garlic and pepper. I cooked them on medium until done. Sometimes I cook the chicken in the slow cooker with taco seasoning or salsa and then shred the chicken. I prefer it that way, but I did not want to run the slow cooker for hours just for 2 chicken breasts.

cdavismk1 - I love the apps for dinner idea!

jdouglas13 - glad to see you are cooking again. Welcome back! I am looking forward to seeing you both at the SWS tomorrow.

I had leftover spaghetti. Faye, your chicken tacos sound delicious. I might have to try those one night. How do you fix the chicken? Do you add taco seasoning mix?

CDAVISMK1, your apps for dinner sounds awesome! That's one of my faves too.

Tonight, since Lowes has boneless chicken breasts on sale for $1.99, we are having chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Everything else needed is from the freezer/pantry and past sales. Salad too hopefully since I had some romaine reseed itself from last year in the garden!

Appetizers for dinner at our house. A FAVORITE!!!

RFB - Agreed. As long as I have both soft flour tortillas and hard taco shells, the little people are happy. :-)

Faye- chicken tacos are always a good idea :-)

RFB - that does sound like an interesting recipe. Tonight we are having chicken tacos with all the trimmings, leftover corn on the cob from last night and pear slices.

Tonight I'm making a new recipe- Tea Poached Chicken. It looks interesting as you poach the chicken in tea and spices like anise and cinnamon. Then we'll do roasted Brussels sprouts on the side.
