FYI - The quiche was just ok. Will not buy it again. I should have known better and just made my own. Lesson learned.

Faye- yum! I'm always a fan of quiche, any time of the day :-)

I am amending the dinner plans yet again. lol I found a Spinach and Cheese Quiche marked down to $3.85 at HT today so we will have that with the turkey bacon and fruit for dinner. Yum.....

RFB - Your veggie/chicken dinner sounds delicious and healthy! I hope the visit with your brother was wonderful.

cdavismk1 - I love them as well. It was raining last night so I just cooked the them on the skillet and they were delicious. Sometimes I boil them but I wanted more of a seared flavor last night.

    Faye- sounds good!

And tonight we're going light with as many veggies as I can possibly fit in my pan to roast after the last few days of heavier food. And I think I'll roast some split chicken breasts with a honey and orange juice concentrate mixture. Delicious, and I have it all on hand.

Faye, it was another switch up for me as well. I had leftovers, so I'll make the breakfast casserole tonite. I LOVE the Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dogs!!!

My oldest saw the Hebrew National 97% fat free beef hot dogs in the fridge yesterday and asked if we could have those for dinner instead of eggs/turkey bacon/biscuits. She also asked if I would buy the light ones and not the 97% fat free ones in the future. LOL We had hot dogs, leftover spaghetti with veggies and pear slices last night. Not even remotely gourmet, but the little people were happy and they still had plenty of fruit and veggies so I was happy. :-)

So tonight we are having the breakfast for dinner planned for last night.
