Posted March 5, 2015

Here's the place to share your meal ideas for the evening, post where you bought the ingredients frugally and even share a recipe if you would like. If you need some inspiration for your own dinner tonight, this may give you some helpful ideas.

What's on your menu tonight?

Had Salmon w/pico di galo and avocado, coconut rice, and stirfry of squash, zucchini and asparagus. Daughter cooked tonight. Yum.

Black jellybeans, my favorite. No one else in house likes them so they are all mine!!! :) Haven't seen them in stores yet so I bought Anise bears online last week.

I'll have to see if there are any left at my location for you. :-)

LOL And a store that shall not be named, after everyone bought out all the black jelly beans last year, had them on sale this week! :))) Just realized I forgot to restock for the ad change!

LOL - I forgot about your black jelly bean addiction, PCB!

Your fruit salad sounds yummy, Faye. I'm waiting for some cheap blueberries so I can make some more blueberry scones for my DW.

Tonight is leftover meatballs in spaghetti sauce which is being reincarnated into meatball parmesan subs (although we call them wedges). Hopefully it will be with a somewhat healthier side of salad rather than black jelly beans which has been a predominant food group for me recently. Tis the season!!! ;)

Tonight we are having shrimp salad, French bread, green salad, strawberry/blackberry fruit salad (with fruit from Aldi).

Way to fight winter, Kim! Your homemade chowder sounds perfect. I picked up lots of veggies today to make homemade veggie soup tomorrow so I will carry on the fight then. The high is only supposed to be 36 Friday!

Looks like winter's going to rear it's ugly head again tonight. I will fight back with homemade corn chowder!!
