    Great menus tonight everyone!

Tonight we are having beef stroganoff on egg noodles with broccoli florets (Steamfresh BOGO at HT this week).

Impressive planning Meredith! I hope you have a very nice evening.

ascherer - I can't believe you still have some of the cookies! I hope they froze well.

Hubby is making chicken noodle soup with the 2nd half of the whole .89/lb chicken from HT. We made it in the crockpot Sunday while we were at church and then used the meat for creamy chicken enchiladas. Oh so good!

We are having a couple people over for dinner tonight so I planned ahead :) We are having bbq chicken legs with the chicken legs on sale at Aldi yesterday. One pack is the perfect size to feed 4 adults and I'm using some free Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce from HT a while back. Sides are sweet potatoes (had a Snap coupon), cold pasta salad (free at HT a while back), broccoli (on sale at FL this week), and yeast rolls (free at Golden Corral when you buy 2 adult buffets - my in-laws took us there this weekend and didn't want the rolls).

Found a huge pkg. of country pork ribs on sale at FL today, so they're in the crock pot with a cut up onion and some free Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce from a past HT SD. On the side I'm making mashed potatoes and peas.

Pork roast, potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker. Needed a "high value" treat for doggie obedience class tonight so I figured that I would kill two birds with one stone: treats for Ginger and dinner for the rest of us!

NAKABI - Than you for the suggestion. At this point, the sides are up to the guys. Our friend has eaten basically military food for the last three months. I will fix him what ever he wants. I do have to pull the bag of cookies (from our exchange) out of the freezer for him. I promised him Christmas treats.

Its time for chicken again at our house (can you tell how excited I am.....not). I saw a recipe on pinterest for slow cooker mac and cheese and I have everything on hand for that so chicken with mac and cheese and maybe broccoli is what's for dinner tonight. Brownies for dessert

Ascherer-How about a Caesar salad? and perhaps a mango/cilantro salsa to top the pork chops? We dont eat pork, but when I do cook it for others I usually make a sweet chutney for it to balance the flavour. The grilled fruit sounds so good!
Tonight we are having beef rendang (Indonesian meal), Jasmine rice, green beans, and the little bit left of the salad from last night. I've got some ripe pears so I may poach them for dessert with some vanilla bean ice creme.
