Prawn curry using ingredients on hand. Undecided if ill make pappadum to go with it since im just about out of my black gram. If so, ill have the kids help me make some mango chutney to go with the pappadum. Of course we will have basmati rice. Fiona wants saag paneer so ill use the last of the spinach and thankfullly I already have firm tofu on hand for it. Love meals I dont have to make extra trips to the store for!

We're doing tri-tip sandwiches with leftover tri-tip, ciabatta bread from TJ, balsamic onions and spinach. And of course, I'm doing a huge rainbow salad on the side :-)

Tonight, It's a double batch of boneless beef ribs with carrots, celery, onion, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, vinegar, tomato paste, and a splash of red wine which is slow cooked in the oven. I call it poor man's beef bourgenone. Prep work done last night. It is a care dinner as the main family chef is recuperating from surgery. It travels well and is truly yummy comfort food.

Tonight we are having veggie pizzas using the Mama Mary's crusts on sale last week topped with mushrooms, onions, fresh spinach and tomatoes. Side of steamed carrots.
