jdouglas13 - I am so sorry you are having back problems. They sound terrible and I hope you are feeling better very very soon. Your cookies, on the other hand, sound amazing.

Last night was a pork loin with a mustard tarragon sauce, oven roasted potatoes and roasted asparagus. I think the mustard sauce would have been better had I used mustard powder like Coleman's rather than dijon.

Tonight is "my back spasms are hurting really bad - day 3" so something easy. Burgers on the grill, baked potatoes, and maybe lima beans since DW doesn't care if she doesn't eat anything green. I did make oatmeal cookies today with raisins, walnuts, dried cranberries, orange and lemon zest, and spices. Yum! I've been craving them for a couple of weeks.

I am so envious of all of you who have veggie gardens!

pork loin in the crockpot (LF sale last week), mashed potatoes and green beans/corn on cob.

Tonight we are having baked lemon and garlic salmon, pasta, sugar snap peas and grapes. Apparently it is fish night here on the blog, although I am the rebel and not having Tilapia. lol

smolder13 - your soup sounds great! I am so happy for soup season. Today I bought the veggies to make a vegetable soup tomorrow. Can't wait!

twoboysandadog - we all love taco night here. I picked up some of the free old el paso nacho cheese tacos today at HT. I wonder how they taste. Guess we'll find out with next week's taco night.

I've got a chicken tortilla soup going in the crock pot as we speak. We'll have it with either a baked potato, salad or grilled cheese sandwich....depending on what strikes me tonight when I have to fix it. :)

Nakabi- YUM! Great reminder on the cauliflower, too :-)

great minds think alike RFB! tonight we are also having tilapia. I'll do a spicy pepper marinade for it and grill it. Last of the corn on cob from the garden, beans from the garden, mashed cauliflower in place of mashed potatoes. They taste just as good and so much better for you!

I'm defrosting some tilapia (from TJ) and making tilapia katsu with rice and spicy honey carrots (from HT sale).

beef tacos with the fixings and a side of black beans
