    We didn't go out today with the rain, and except for some tomatoes, I don't think we have a single veg in the house. I've even been stealing the naughty twins' frozen green beans for myself. I also have a package of bacon that is on the use it or lose it list. I'm thinking about making a Bisquick crustless quiche with the bacon and slicing some of the tomatoes for a tomato salad with a lemon dressing. If the rain stops, I might be able to pick a couple of basil leaves to add to it.

    Baked macaroni and cheese (harvarti, colby, chedder, and mozzerella), baked bbq boneless/skinless chicken thighs, steamed broccoli, corn.

    We still have no AC (they are coming tomorrow) but the rains have cooled things off. Tonight we are going to have BBQ using a smoked Boston B*tt out of the freezer (from a church fund raiser) in homemade BBQ sauce on rolls with slaw, baked beans and steamed broccoli. If it stops raining enough, I will get grapes or some other fruit for dessert at Kroger.

    I'm thinking about having spaghetti with the spaghetti and great pasta deal that I picked up at HT at lunch today.

    Tonight I'm doing Pork Picatta (Kroger has pork loin on sale and can be cut into nice chops and pounded flat) and lemons from last week's HT sale. Then I'm making a carrot and zucchini pasta for the side. I use a veggie peeler to make ribbons with the veggies, sauté them, and add to cooked pasta (I got organic free from EF a few weeks ago). A nice way to sneak in veggies, and reduce your pasta intake!

    Carelesswhisper - we are on the same page - tonight we are having shrimp. I am serving it on linguine with red peppers, zucchini, mushrooms and onions. I had planned it for last night but opted for a cooler turkey sandwich instead.
