Meant to add that last night when we had homemade pizza, I was feeling kind of lazy and for sauce, just opened a can of Dei Fratelli crushed tomatoes and seasoned it with garlic powder, dry oregano, and dry parsley. No heating it up or cooking it or anything. Straight from the can onto the dough. It was one of the best pizzas I ever made! Who knew it could be so easy! :)

It will definitely be my new go-to method when I'm making this kind of pizza, provided I remember how I did it next time.

Tonight is angel hair (Buitoni for $1 from HT SD) with basil pesto from the garden (parm from my endless stash) with grilled boneless chicken chicken (sale from Lowes in July) and sliced tomatoes which I WISH I could say are from my garden, but sadly are not.

My two poor pathetic little tomato plants are still blooming, and have a few green tomatoes on them, but the rain has split open almost every tomato so far. The herbs are still going strong, and I'm going to be planting mesclun and lettuce soon.

wildfrenchrose- that stew sounds amazing! Would love the recipe if it turns out good for you!

We're taking it easy tonight...and will be using the 50% off PLAY50 code for Papa Johns. Love their BBQ Chicken Bacon Pizza. Worn out from all this couponing the last week ;-)

I have a meeting tonight so we're having pizza while we conduct business. Tomorrow night we're having ribs, corn on the Cobb, baked beans, and a cucumber and tomato salad.

carelesswhisper its taco night with a twist at our house. last time i made "taco bake" it was a hit so im doing it again tonight. Its kinda like a taco lasagne, soft shells line the bottom of the pan, layered with ground beef seasoned in taco seasoning, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, doritos chips (finely crumbled), and topped with more soft shell tortillas. Put in the oven for 20-30 mins to warm thru and melt the cheese and dinner is served. May do some rice and beans on the side. Sooooo good!!

I think it is pasta with alfredo, garlic bread, broccoli. It's a really busy day today so needed an easy meal. Thanks to everyone for sharing your meals!
