YAY jdouglas I'm so happy for yall :)

I pulled out chicken breast so I'm thinking throw it in the slow cooker with some BBQ sauce to have pulled chicken sandwiches with baked beans, biscuits, and coleslaw. We are going to the southern ideal homeshow today to get some ideas for a back deck.

    Enjoy the day everyone!!!

Congrats on the house, that's fun!
We are having a hungry howies pizza I picked up for free! They sent me a coupon for a free 1 topping large. And I never go there so don't know why the love, but I'll take it.

Tonight Momma and I are having french bread pizza to use up the pizza topping we have. Dinner on Sunday is at my Aunt's house.

JDouglas - congrats on the new place.

jdouglas13 - my religious organization is collecting things for a refugee family of 7 (mom and 6 kids) from the Congo who will be moving to Raleigh on April 18. They have been in a refugee camp for years and have basically nothing. They may be able to use some of the items you are donating. Let's chat in the next couple days because they are setting up a house from scratch and need just about everything.

Delicious sounding steak, shrimp, pot roast and peach pie from everyone this weekend!

Observant and RFB, thanks for your good wishes about our new house. We are very excited. The countdown is on for real, too. The project here this weekend is purge, purge, and purge some more. Rather than torture ourselves with a garage sale, we are just going to donate a bunch of stuff that we really don't need or use any more. It's amazing how much you can accumulate in almost 27 years.

Any collectors here of Dept. 56's Christmas in the City village?

Dinner. I would love to say takeout pizza, but the good place is 1.5 hour away R/T. DW may get her hot dogs on the grill yet this week. ;) If I'm smart, I'll pull something from the freezer to grill tomorrow.

I have so much pasta that I really need to cook some. No ideas yet, so I am going to scan thru some recipes with pasta as an ingredient and see what catches my eye.

Sunday = Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy & onions, broccoli and rolls. Peach pie for dessert.

Jdouglas- congrats on your new house!

I have a pot roast with carrots and radishes (I know! Hoping they turn out OK, and somewhat like potatoes as I've read :) for tonight.
Tomorrow we'll have leftover meatloaf from yesterday with sweet potatoes and sauteed spinach.
