My version of Wendy's chili. Served with cornbread.

Thanks Observant I'm better hopefully I'll be 100% by tomorrow. The girls had a blast. It was a bit much for baby ziti as she slept for about two hours while we were there but Rae had plenty of fun and got on plenty of rides and ate lots of ears of corn.

I need something good for dessert tonight after reading about Faye's brownies! So far, all I've got for dinner for sure is baked chicken legs. The appetizer is Good & Plenty candy, and I'm not sharing. I might add some broccoli to roast in the chicken pan once they're done, and either baked potatoes or some type of pasta/noodle concoction.

Tonight we are having nachos topped with homemade quac, salsa, spinach and tomatoes. Dessert is chocolate coconut brownies. :-) Clearly it's a health food kind of night! lol

    RAESMOM1612 _ I hope you are feeling better !
Did the girls have a great time at the Fair ??

Thanks Faye and jdouglas. I actually had everything on hand for some chili so that's what's for dinner along with some corn bread. Chili is simmering on the stove as we speak (or type). Maybe 9 can soup Monday (i do seven cans now and use real chicken breast instead of the canned, unless I'm in a rush lol).

Tomorrow I'm thinking I'll do baked pork chops in sausage gravy with mashed potatoes, green beans or peas and biscuits.

Raesmom, so sorry you were feeling so awful yesterday! :( What about making your 9 can soup today? You can add some biscuits -- either from Bisquick, from a can, or frozen.

I did a butternut squash soup in the crockpot pot yesterday... I already had more this am. Not sure the meat tonight, but definitely making Hasselbeck potatoes this evening... sooooo good!

raesmom1612 - oh my goodness! I am so glad you are feeling a bit better today but what a yucky day yesterday. I am so glad your DH could step in with the girls. It's tough when the mom gets sick with little ones to take care of. I hope you can get some rest today.

ybaverage2003 - I think you are right about soup night! I am pulling some veggie soup out of the freezer now. Will serve with grilled cheese on rye and boneless chicken wings. Making brownies in a bit for dessert.
