I think I may make that Frittata I posted about yesterday for dinner tonight. I have plenty of eggs from the Aldi sale and now they are on sale for only .69/dozen at Walgreens this week!

Didnt get to the baked ziti last night so it's what's for dinner this weekend. I hear there is a food truck rodeo tomorrow downtown Raleigh from 4-9 so we might have baked ziti for lunch and whatever we find at the rodeo tomorrow for dinner........I miss the food truck rodeos!!!!!!

And I think I am going to make this veggie frittata for brunch tomorrow morning. I am planning to add shredded cheese, turkey bacon, and sauteed veggies to mine (zucchini, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes):

ascherer - Happy weekend to you as well! Glad your pizza was so good.

Last night it was storming so no grilling for me. Instead, I cooked the well-marinated London broil in my cast iron skillet for 3 minutes on each side to brown it nicely. Then I topped it off in the oven for 10 minutes at 325 degrees to reach 145 degree internal temp. It was delicious!

We'll be eating leftovers in various forms for a couple days including French dip sandwiches. Sides include watermelon (from Aldi for $2.99 this week), tomato and cuke salad (using more veggies from my Aunt's garden) and pasta salad.

I got my pizza last night and it was really good. Options for the weekend are a ham steak (Kroger $1.79 for .8 lb steak) with scalloped potatoes, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, or BLTs. I bought a bunch of frozen veggies Friday night (buy 10 for $10). They will get added to the meal depending on the meal.

    Happy weekend everyone.
