jdouglas13 - great idea on topping the caprese chicken off in the broiler. And our berries are Cottle Farms as well. :-)

The blueberries last night were delicious. Nice and big and sweet. They were local, too -- Cottle Farm.

I was planning to grill the chicken breasts I got yesterday at FL tonight too. I'm trying to decide between grilling them early and serving cold/room temp or turning them into fried chicken strips. You know what DW's vote is.

That caprese chicken looks really good! That might be an option as well. If I make it, I think I'll stick the pan under the broiler for a minute to melt and lightly brown the mozz. A little char on tomatoes is yummy too.

Either way, the side tonight is a use it or lose it salad.

If it is storming this evening, I may try this recipe for skillet caprese chicken. It looks so delicious!:

Tonight I had planned to grill chicken breasts, but it is looking like stormy weather so not sure that will happen. It may be baked chicken instead. Sides include corn on the cob, french bread, and a salad. Blueberries, strawberries & blackberries with whipped cream for dessert. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

ascherer - congrats to your godson on his graduation!

Jdouglas - I bet the blueberries were great on the pancakes.

Late dinner tonight -- Dutch baby pancake with breakfast sausage and fresh blueberries.

This afternoon\evening is the graduation party for our oldest Godson. It is hard to believe he is graduating High School. It is a cook out at his parents house. I am taking deviled eggs.

    Happy Saturday everyone.

Nice, light dinner on the menu - Quorn veggie burger (on sale for $1.99/box as part of the Kroger Buy 5 get $5 off promo this week) with melted provolone cheese on a big salad with a bit of balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
