check Amazon... when you buy it in bulk I think it is a better price about $3.80lb!
I feel your pain, I have been looking for wagon wheels for forever!!!

raesmom1612 - WOW on that dessert! I bet it was great. Did they notice the Greek yogurt instead of sour cream in the ziti?

RaleighFoodBlogger - I really wish the Earth Fare was closer. Glad you found some good buys. What do you put in your spring rolls?

jdouglas13 - that makes the Colavita long fusilli pasta so much better? Is it in the fresh pasta refrigerated section?

Faye- congrats on reaching your goals. You are doing amazing!

Ascherer- what a nice story :)

And this weekend I ended up going to Earth Fare (haven't been in forever, but they had some great sales). Got 2 lbs. of ground beef and made meatballs and baked some corn on the cob in the oven. Pasta on the side (using a free jar of marinara sauce from Publix). And a huge bin of shredded cabbage/carrots, etc. for around $4 for coleslaw plus I'm going to make some spring rolls for lunch tomorrow. They also had some great deals on organic grapes and sliced cheese (BOGO deal).

Tonight is leftover BBQ with baked beans and cuke slices. My "beach" normal Sunday dinner at my Aunt's house was moved to Monday evening because of the holiday weekend traffic.

Dinner tonight is baked ziti but instead of sour cream I am going to use 0% fat plain Greek yogurt......fingers crossed that the family can't taste a difference :) For dessert we are having hazelnut and vanilla flavored brownies with smoked almond pieces throughout and the pan is sprinkled with cinnamon after having been "buttered" down (using coconut oil) by Rae. Served alone or with ice cream :) momma had some mean cravings today lol

Everything into the oven: Meatloaf, roasted white & sweet potatoes and baked beans.

Last night a made a 2-night pot of spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage. We had some last night with my very favorite pasta, which is so ridiculously expensive, I only buy it once or twice a year: Colavita long fusilli. HT has it for $5.99/lb. If anyone ever sees a good deal on it, please post!

Once again, I have a lot of salad ingredients screaming to be used up, so I need to do something with them. Maybe a shrimp Cobb salad. I have a lot of eggs, too, so I can use up some of them in the Cobb salad as well.

Dessert will be the last of the Napoleons.
