    Tonight we are having make your own tortilla pizzas. I am putting shredded chicken, onions, mushrooms, mozzarella and marinara on mine. Side of grapes and strawberries. Maybe a little sherbet for dessert again.....

    Happy weekend everyone! :)

    Last night was pizza night #2 with the second pizza I made on Friday.

    Tonight will be baked chicken breasts in a mushroom sauce, roasted sweet potato chunks, and something green TBD.

    Earlychd99, your homemade pound cake sounds so good. I should really bake something. I have some cream cheese expiring, so maybe cheesecake.

    Balsamic chicken legs (Aldi), homemade mashed potatoes and green beans with almonds (Kroger), cheese garlic French bread (HT). Apple pie wontons as a special treat for dessert.

    Tonight we are having sushi (splitting a container from HT), leftover BBQ chicken, soup (Progresso tomato rotini) and salad.

    Leftovers from the week. We have hotdogs/hamburgers, potato salad, salad, rotisserie chicken, minestrone soup. So gourmet buffet of whatever anyone wants.

    I am buried in taxes so no cooking for me.

    Tonight is going to be beef stew. I think I will also make a crock pot of chili. Some for tomorrows dinner but mostly for the freezer. It is nice to have for these cooler evenings/weekends that pop up in the spring, summer, and fall.

    Tonight we are having soup made with the ham( from Easter) red kidney beans, and free jiffy corn bread. Tomorrow we will be having Chicken(1.99 @commissary) Parmesan, with zucchini ( .69lb @ commissary) , onions and mushrooms sauteed with coconut oil and garlic. and a salad. All the other ingredients for chicken parmesan were brought at HT. The plan is to bake a pound cake and enjoy that with the some strawberries and whip cream on top.
