Kathy S. - good to know about the vegan cheese. Thanks!

Tonight was stewed beef from the freezer over biscuits with a side of butter beans.

Had leftover pizza and salad. Yes Faye the cheese melts. Not as stringy as real cheese but will do when that's all I can have. By the way it can be purchased at Kroger in Garner.

twinredheads - that sounds perfect for today!

We ended up having teriyaki tofu, mushrooms and asparagus. I had planned to have it Friday but we ended up having leftovers that night. And we have enough leftover tofu to have it for lunch tomorrow. :-)

White chicken chili on this very cold first day of spring :)

So tonight around 5:30 I ended up near our fave local Chinese takeout place, so we ended up getting some for dinner tonight! Easy cleanup and no cooking. :)

However, I am proud to say that I just got the pizza dough started in the bread machine so it will have overnight to age (it becomes much more flavorful with an overnight rest in the fridge). Sunday we will be having my Plan B menu. White pizza with Caesar salad on the side.

lindabates - you really should have posted your menu earlier so the caravan would have known to come to your house first for steak and crab legs! :-)

Stephanie - thanks for the feedback on the casserole. I often leave off the cr@ cker/parm topping on casseroles or I put on half the recommended amount for the flavor but less cals/fat. I'll be adding it to my menu in the next few weeks when I can actually eat it.

Kathy S. - what a great way to doctor up the GF pizza. Does the daiya vegan cheese melt like real cheese?

Frugal20 - My grandmother used to make a wonderful corn pudding casserole. I need to dig out the recipe and make it soon. Thanks for the reminder.

Dominos pizza with their 50% off sale. I hardly ever have pizza being gluten free and can't have cheese any more. But with the sale I purchased a gf pizza w/o cheese and added some daiya vegan cheese. Not bad, but may just not remember what the real deal tastes like. :) Topped mine with sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms. That should hold me for awhile now until the next sale (which rarely ever happens on gf). Husband got a gf topped with sausage, mushrooms, and greenpepper and real cheese. We had salad on the side.
