ASCHERER- There are SOOO many different tot casseroles on internet/in cookbooks, but my family likes it simple. 32 oz bag of frozen tater tots poured into the slow cooker. Brown 1 pound ground beef, mix in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/4 cup milk and salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Spread beef mixture over the tots and cover completely. Cook on high for 3 hours.

Tonight we are having grilled chicken on pasta alfredo with steamed carrots. I'm having my grilled chicken on a spinach salad with cranberries, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, onions, carrots and zucchini.

twinredheads - enjoy your walk and a big thanks for the sunscreen reminder.

Twinredheads - What do you put in your tater tot casserole?

  • twinredheads Feb 28, 2016

My daughter requested tater tot casserole since her boyfriend is over and it is actually something he will eat :). Making a green salad to go with it to lighten the meal up a bit.

Yes Faye, I plan on taking the dog on a long walk this afternoon. Might need the sunscreen!

twinredheads - My oldest and I love grilled portobellos! And I plan to go for a nice long walk Sunday when it is 65 and sunny. I hope you are able to enjoy this great weather this weekend, as well.

jdouglas13 - And I love quiche almost as much as I love portobellos. :-) I tried to get the LOL eggs at HT today but the dairy employee said they did not get any on the last couple trucks. So I came home with a raincheck instead. :-( Raincheck quiche does not taste so good...

The sun today was wonderful. I'm looking forward to tomorrow as well. I'm hoping I remember to pull something out of the freezer to grill Sunday.

Tonight we are having something involving eggs, bacon, cheese, and broccoli. It will either be quiche or pasta carbonara.

The sunshine is making me want to grill :). Boneless pork ribs or burgers are the options. I'm going to have a grilled portobello mushroom cap for a faux burger. Hope everyone is out enjoying the good weather.
