Yes the Christmas tree was quite the adventure lol we did not finish in time to make homemade cookies but I did have a box of Pillsbury sugar cookies with Christmas tree shapes inside....not as tasty but it fit the bill for Rae.

Tonight I made homemade stuffed shells stuffed with a ground beef, ricotta and sour cream mixture. The meat also had onions, green peppers, garlic and mushrooms in it. Topped with sauce and cheese and popped in the oven. Very tasty. Made 35 shells....can we say leftovers lol

DH picked up a London Broil and some blsl chicken. He is going to grill them tonight. Dinner will be London Broil, roaster asparagus, and loaded baked potatoes.

Thanks everyone! We went to my cousins house tonight for a holiday party and had a lovely time.

Dinner Sunday night is spaghetti, rolls and salad.

I am sure your dad loves his cookies, Jdouglas.

Raesmom - how fun with the Christmas tree! Did you get it finished in time for cookies?

Jdouglas and Raesmom - Your baked ziti sounds really good to me...I think I will add it to the menu for next week :) (or tomorrow)

We are still figuring out dinner for tonight. I think it might be burgers out with a Groupon deal.

My pleasure, Raesmom! LOL We're having leftover baked ziti tonight. Pass the garlic bread, won't you please? ;)

Did some baking today for Dad. Chocolate chip walnut cookies and Scottish shortbread in honor of my Mom.

Faye, have fun at your events! :)

Not sure how much cooking (if any) I am doing this weekend with multiple events/holiday party going on. Since the blog is on a no-cooking theme from yesterday's What's for Dinner thread, I figured I would carry it on through today. :-)
