Dinner today is a Birthday celebration for our oldest Godson. I'm not sure what we are having but I am taking a homemade Mac and Cheese.

Granof20 - so glad the pizza bread was good and the sleepover at grandma's is such fun! I bet you are a wonderful Grandma! That's a great idea to make the pizza bread in bundt pans.

Granof20 - glad the kids liked to congo bars. I am sure you could put chocolate chips in it. I just make it the way my family makes it. The pizza bread sounds good. I will have to give it a try. Enjoy your time with the grandchildren.

Funny story on dinner tonight. Last night was supposed to be chicken alfredo. I put everything on the table and we enjoyed a lovely meal with pasta and sauce, bread and veggies. While we were cleaning up, my husband looks in the fridge and says "What is the chicken in here for." Ooops - I forgot the chicken in the chicken alfredo! lol

Soooooo, tonight we had chicken dish Part II. I made a yummy skillet dish with the shredded chicken, leftover pasta shells from last night, Progresso creamy mushroom soup, sauteed mushrooms, 1/2 a can of corn, cheese, garlic, pepper and Italian seasonings. Served it with biscuits and fresh cantaloupe. The cantaloupe was surprisingly delicious. Bought it BOGO at HT.

granof20 - how were the pull apart pizza breads? They sounds great!

jdouglas13 - that salad sounds great! Love pomegranates as well.

Granof20- I agree, so much fun!

Jdouglas- that salad sounds great, I'm loving pomegranates so much! And I think it sounds like a great match!

Tonight I'm going to do one of the whole chickens on sale from FL in the pressure cooker. And then we're going to grill some romaine and do a yummy chicken salad with bacon (from the HT sale) and hardboiled eggs. Excited to see how the chicken turns out.

Granof20, that sounds like a fun idea! It reminds me a bit of the French bread pizzas back in the day.

Tonight we're having breaded chicken cutlets, salad with pomegranate and orange, and probably rice. I'm not sure that all goes together, but it satisfies a number of my cravings. :)
