    I hope you had a great Sunday as well. My oldest daughter and went out to lunch with my Dad and then we headed to the Southern Women's Show for a mom and daughter day. We had a great time and won $25 in gift certificates to spend at the show in one of those money booths where the money flies up at you and you catch it. It was hilarious! Of course we spent the money on 2 shirts for her! lol

    I am having the same thing I had last night because it was so good! : Soft tortillas with diced Boca spicy veggie chicken, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, yellow peppers, onion, shredded cheese, light sour cream and Wholly guacamole salsa. Fresh local strawberries for dessert.

    The rest of the family is having some variation on that with different proteins (chicken or turkey). Side of pasta with veggies.

    I have way too many strawberries than I can eat before they go bad. Has anyone had any luck flash freezing them? Also, how did you do it? My gut says to wash and core them. Then put them in a single layer on a sheet pan and freeze until frozen. After that I can put them in a zip lock bag. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

    We've had really simple (but pretty healthy) meals this week/weekend, so not much to "write home" about. But tonight, I'm excited to make tomorrow's blog recipe, so I can't tell ;-) But, I will say I'm adding in mushrooms in honor of Faye :-) Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

    Tonight is another late and quick dinner. DH worked Spring Daze today. So hotdogs and tator tots found in the freezer. Hotdog chili and baked beans found in the cabinet. Watermelon to finish it off. All DH has to get at the store is buns and cold slaw. Hopefully going for strawberries tomorrow. Not sure where yet.

    Thanks Faye. DW and I may take a ride on Monday if the weather is ok. Can you believe back in the day I used to drive 3 hours one way to a farm in CT to pick berries (late June), pick them myself, drive home, and then make and put up strawberry jam in a high rise apartment with no A/C? Wow, times have changed!

    Twinredheads, how do you make your pork chops? I have yet to make them so that they are edible.
