We had one of my favorite meals tonight! Teriyaki sesame tofu with sauteed asparagus, mushrooms, squash and zucchini and egg rolls.

Thoughts go out to you jdouglas for the loss of your computer. :-(

You could make spinach and cheese enchiladas, jdouglas.

My computer died :( Very sad. But, DW is sharing hers with me. Let's hope I don't kill that one too.

Dinner is an odd assortment of use it up. Tamari marinated skirt steak on sale last May, grilled asparagus, mixed green salad with the BOGO grape tomatoes at HT last week, crispy sesame fried rice.

Tomorrow I have a boatload of fresh spinach I need to use or lose. Any ideas?

The shrimp sautee sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing your meals this weekend.

Tonight was baked sweet potatoes, sauteed shrimp with onion and green pepper, sauteed asparagus and a side salad. Sunday is going to be baked chicken breast, left over baked sweet potatoes, and a side salad.

(Shrimp, chicken breast, bell pepper, onion, and asparagus all on sale at HT on Saturday).

grandview - I think you should do what you think is ethical in both the HT and the printed coupon questions. :-)

  • Grandview Nov 16, 2013

Faye, I don't mean to turn this into a coupon ethics thread, but I do have a question. We have 2 computers (my laptop and my husband's old desktop). If the coupon does not say "1 per household" do you think it is ethical to print 2 from each computer? I am often tempted when it is a good coupon, but it does not seem fair.

Do you think I should ask at CS desk and be sure they know I printed the coupons at home? Maybe they think they came from the Food Lion kiosk. When I asked long ago if they would take them, the manager laughed and said she would much rather I spend my money at HT than the Food Lion next door.

Interesting, grandview. It is actually against the corporate policy for customers to use printable competitors coupons so I am surprised they are taking them.

"We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers. "

Also, the HT at 401/Ten-Ten will take 3 printable coupons when the official policy is 2 printables. They seem to go overboard to please the customer.

The emailed Food Lion printable coupons this week included a $2 off $5 produce coupon. My HT at 401/Ten-Ten has always allowed me to use the printable FL coupons if they are not for a particular item. My HT will take the Food Lion X dollars off Y category (sometimes it is meat, sometimes it is dairy, etc.) It rings up as a competitor coupon.
