jdouglas - the chicken cutlets sound good!

Juanita - I hope your headache is better very very soon.

I think we are having creamy chicken and pasta tonight, but not sure yet. May end up being veggie burgers, salad and Mahatma saffron rice. I think I will open it up for voting with the hubby and kids. lol

thnx jdouglas, got rave reviews from the hubby last night "its very moist and tender" he says lol

tonight ive got a slight headache coming on so its a "one pot wonder" dinner. Chili using ground pork, black beans, corn, onions, green peppers, a can of rotel, and a packet of chili seasoning. Throw it all in the pot and gonna let it all simmer until 5 tonight.....add a little sour cream and shredded cheese to my bowl, hubby eats his with cheez its and dinner is served

Some pruned basil from the garden last night with my HT parmesan stash and a fresh chopped tomato turned into ravioli with pesto. Pesto usually tastes better to me after it sits a day, but it was pretty tasty.

Tonight with be sauteed breaded chicken cutlets (Lowes $1.99 bonesless chicken breasts), romaine salad with leftover Caesar dressing, and some kind of rice concoction with the leftover rice we got from Chinese the other night when I got back from up north.

Juanita, your teriyaki pork sounds really good. I have a bunch of pork tenderloins in the freezer I need to use sooner than later.

I've had it in my mind to make a chicken soup/stew thingy with just about any kind of veggie you can think of in it, at least anything I can find fresh. Hopefully I'll be able to at least get to the store this weekend! That fresh corn salad with tomatoes the Brian & Lisa did yesterday looked fantastic--I'd like to try that as well.

I am going to try the recipe Brian Shraeder and Lisa Price did a couple of weeks ago on the news, those salmon cakes looked good. It will make a nice lunch. Nothing on sale or no coupons for that, but it looks so good I don't care this time!

I don't cook usually most evenings. Probably try out ORO tonight downtown, haven't been yet, and then go out for drinks and music afterwards.
