quiet time at home together -we had grilled a steak, baked potatoes and roasted asparagus.
dessert later - pumpkin pie and watch the neighborhood fireworks .

Still no clue what we are eating or what we are doing tonight. We may go to my BiL's house and hang with DH's family or we go to our local pub. I did pull some ham out to thaw.

Happy New Year to all my friends on this blog. May the new year bless us all with health, happiness, and lots of savings.

No idea what we are doing for dinner tonight, with so much going on i dont even know if i feel comfortable going out (too late) with Rae so Im thinking we will go see the 7pm kids fireworks and head home for the night, with a nice bottle of wine all to myself :)

We are staying home for a mellow New Year's Eve tonight. The kids may have a couple friends here, but nothing fancy. I am making Buffalo chicken dip with chips and veggies, pizza and various snack foods and desserts to hold them for the evening. Hoping to play some games and hang out and watch the ball drop.

Happy New Year my culinary cohorts!
