Here is our menu for the week:
Meatless Monday: Southwest tortilla roll-ups with scrambled eggs, Boca veggie sausage, cheese, onions green peppers and salsa. Sides of Mahatma saffron rice and sauteed zucchini and onion, and local strawberries. (Eggs were .99/dozen with Walgreens raincheck, Boca sausage on sale at HT super doubles, Mahatma rice free at HT with coupon from Sunday paper, zucchini on sale .99/lb at Kroger, strawberries from local farm)
Tuesday: Chicken salad on honey wheat bread, cole slaw, pear slices (chicken bought on sale for $1.99/lb and cooked in slow cooker with a little Italian dressing, pears were .99/lb at Kroger)
Wednesday: Linguini with vodka sauce, garlic bread, salad (free Mueller's pot sized linguini, sauce on sale weeks ago)
Thursday: Teriyaki shrimp, rice, broccoli and mushrooms
Friday: Philly cheesesteak subs, baked sweet potatoes, fruit
