jdouglas13 - LOL, Glad you did not have to cook. And I would save myself for chocolate mousse cake, too. Dinner's overrated anyway.....

    Granoftwenty - LOL! I totally agree :)

PS I did not cook. Dinner for my poor Dad was 3 day leftover baked ziti minus sauce and minus sausage. It was truly pitiful. He said he's saving himself for leftover chocolate mousse cake.

jdouglas13 - sounds like it is time to assert your older sister status and crush princess little sister's crown ! LOL
    Hurry HOME !

Any invites pleeeaasse?? Everyone's menus sound great! :) There is a pork tenderloin defrosting on the counter, but I can tell you right now that I am NOT cooking tonight. I think it is the Queen of the Manor's turn (aka Princess Baby Sister) to knock off the drama and get off her derriere and do something.

Rant over. I am SO ready to come home.

Tonight is meatloaf with mashed potatoes and butter beans. Watermelon for dessert. I am using ground pork and hamburger in the meatloaf.

I found a marked down beef top round roast at HT today so it is in the slow cooker now with 1 onion sliced, 16 oz mushrooms, quartered and a can of Progresso French Onion soup. I also seasoned it with pepper, garlic powder and McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning. I'll serve it on egg noodles with another cucumber and tomato side salad.

ybaverage2003 - your pita pizzas sound great! I bet my kids would love those.

YBAVERAGE2003- those sound delicious! BBQ Chicken pizza is my favorite, and love the addition of the pita.

Tonight I'm making Spinach and Goat Cheese Ravioli (HT e-VIC special) with leftover shredded chicken, pesto and peas (alexia frozen organic peas on sale at HT).

Pita Pizzas: Leftover chicken breast, homemade BBQ sauce, pine nuts, onion and cheddar cheese. Only downside is I have to use the oven !
