jdouglas - ahh, the power of suggestion! I have been craving that baked ziti since Raesmom mentioned it on Saturday.....

Gator Girll - filet mignon with sauteed squash and onions sounds GREAT! Especially after I had a salad for dinner. lol

Gatorgirl, that sounds delicious. How do you make cheesy broccoli and rice? Careless, your fried chicken sounds really good, too. I have half a London broil marinating to be grilled tomorrow, but maybe we'll have fried chicken on Wednesday. I even have buttermilk in the house for a change, although it was destined for a cake. I usually soak the chicken for a few hours in buttermilk with poultry seasoning.

With all the talk over the weekend about baked ziti, you guessed it -- tonight is baked ziti, roasted Italian sausage, Caesar salad.

Tonight is markdown filet mignon, cheesy broccoli and rice, and sautéed yellow squash and onions. I also have the makings for salad but i might save that for tomorrow. Almost everything I got today was on sale or on markdown for quick sale (even my wine)!

Tomorrow night will be salad with grilled salmon. We will be leaving on Wednesday for the beach until next Wednesday so that is it for me for the week. We will cook at the condo a few nights but it seems like less work at the beach! LOL!

At my 3 year old's request I FRIED chicken lastnight. It was great and we have leftovers that I will pop in oven to get crispy again. I will heat up some GG rice, cheese, and broccoli to go with it.

Nakabi- sounds like a fun time!!! And yum on your dinner!

Faye- Those roll ups sound so good! Love finger foods.

And tonight I'm making a recipe from a new cookbook that I'm loving, The Organic Family (great for kids, and amazing photos). It's a homemade tomato soup. And on the side, I'm doing a recipe I saw in the Whole Foods coupon book today for Grilled Goat Cheese and Artichoke Toasties :-)

barbiedoll1967 - in my classic semi-homemade fashion, I add fresh cut avocado chunks to Wholly Guacamole's Avocado Verde salsa! LOL Easy and so delicious! I am really addicted to this salsa.

    Enjoy your spaghetti. :-)

Nakabi and Faye - both of your dinners sounds delicious. Faye, how do you make avocado salsa? It sounds great. I'm having leftover spagehetti.

Nakabi, Happy Birthday to your sweet daughter.
