Frozen homemade soup & bagged salad kit from Walmart Neighborhood Market... we're sick and still haven't done a good food shopping trip since coming back from the holiday.

There was a slow cooker recipe on go ask mom last week for French dip sandwiches. Had made something similar years ago. Want to do more slow cooker recipes next year.

I'm doing a slow cooker meal too! It's an Asian-Style Ribs recipe, but I'm going to use the country-style pork ribs I found on sale today at HT... over rice. And some bok choy grilled in my grill pan (which BTW, I adore! I made grilled lamb chops in it over Christmas, and it was fantastic. I got it from Target on sale... it's from Giada. I think they are having a sale on all her cookware- maybe cartwheels too, can't remember!)

Navy Mom, the only thing I changed is I don't put the rice in. I cook 5 minute rice to serve over it and that way it doesn't come out as "mush".

    Happy New Year!
