Pepper2 - I am laughing out loud!! If everyone eats too much it will be a maxi-series and not a mini series.....

Jdouglas, we are just fine without leftovers. My oldest is not a big turkey fan and I had my fill yesterday. Enjoy yours!

Faye, no turkey? Do you need some? :)

Raesmom, your menus sound just incredible! Have fun visiting with everyone.

Granoftwenty, it's so nice out today -- perfect grilling weather! Enjoy :)

I think we are having Thanksgiving leftovers for dinner, and a piece of lemon meringue pie for a late lunch! I kept the leftovers to a minimum this year, so we'll probably move on to M&C tomorrow.

    raesmom1612 - Have a great date night!!

GranOFTwenty - yum on the chowder!

Not sure about dinner yet but we just had the most delicious lunch. I made open faced sandwiches with thinly sliced French bread, mayo, Swiss cheese, sauteed portabella mushroom slices, sliced avocado and sliced tomato. They were so amazing. Both kids loved them, as well. I think I just want the same thing for dinner. lol

    RAESMOM1612 - Sounds like a Wonderful Plan for you & DH !
You may have to have "lottery" to see who is lucky enough to keep Rae tonight !
    Be careful and enjoy !

Thanks granoftwenty. Its always good to be here. Grama is doing good, but doesn't like the weather......and they haven't even had "real snow" yet. Mom and dad are well. Super happy to see Rae and the belly as its been termed. Going to see if I can see my a few of my sisters today that I didn't see yesterday and sneak in a date night with DH since we have so many babysitting options. :) Enjoy your chowder!!

We are certainly having leftovers over her for breakfast lunch and dinner lol l. We were blessed to have dinner at both my parents house and at DH's moms house. My parents feast consisted of turkey, pork shoulder (pernil), ham, potato salad, Spanish rice, yams, stuffing, and macaroni salad. Desserts were pumpkin pie and apple pie. At MIL's we had 2 deep fried turkeys (thanks DH), two hams, a whole chicken, baked mac and cheese, dressing and cranberry, potato salad, greens, green beans, yams, and a small roast. I am and will be throughout the weekend one happy momma lol NBS was a soccer player yesterday!! Desserts at MIL's included strawberry cake, cherry pie, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, lemon cake and a yellow cake. Hope everyone enjoyed food, friend and family and made great memories.....off to collect black Friday deal scraps lol
