Tonight we are having homemade veggie alfredo pizza, roasted asparagus ($1.79/lb at ALdi this week) and corn on the cob ($1.99 for 4 ears from Aldi in Garner yesterday)

RaleighFoodBlogger and meredith88 - Good luck with the painting! That's always such an undertaking but looks so wonderful when it's done!

twinredheads - I love shrimp tacos. Lately, there have been such good shrimp deals that we have it at least once a week. Tomorrow night we are having garlic shrimp on Cesar salads.

EM2S - that tortelloni sounds delicious!! I hope your family members continue to heal.

raesmom1612 - I thought you were having a bottle of wine for dinner tonight??!! LOL

coupon4me - enjoy your national sandwich day part 2! :-)

Meredith88 and RaleighFoodBlogger - Wishing both of you well with your painting projects! I usually paint myself in the process :-/

Our supper is a two-in-one: follow the pasta trend ;-) ... and fill a birthday request. It's an easy, inexpensive meal with Giovanni Rana's chicken mozzarella tortelloni (50c/20oz pkg thanks to Kroger discontinuance sale + coupons). Will add bits of chicken breast (set aside before last night's bbq) to Bertolli Alfredo Sauce (past HT B2G3+coupon deal), a side of fresh diced tomatoes tossed with olive oil, grated Romano and bits of chopped spinach (reserved from earlier in the week), a side of Italian (pole) beans (Kroger free veggie paper coupon), refrigerator-pickled cauliflower/carrots/cucumber medley, and pumpkin-oat-spice bread with lemon glaze (Aldi canned pumpkin, Kroger markdown 9 lemons 99c bag). Will be helping family this weekend -- hope everyone gets to enjoy the autumn weather!

Tonight we will have the beef stew we were going to have last night. It's already cooked so we just have to reheat it which is nice!

Raleighfoodblogger, I feel your pain. We are painting all three bedrooms this weekend before the rest of our furniture arrives so I doubt I will be able to life my arm to cook anything :-)

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes on the job! :)

Tonight is leftovers. We're repainting all our walls the next few days, so it will be nice not to have to cook!

I ended up changing my dinner last night; made chicken parm & pasta. Leftovers for lunch today. No clue about dinner tonight.

We didn't join your sandwhich bandwagon....but sure did sound easy and yummy! Last night we had the beef stew I had made Tuesday. It had beef, brown gravy as the base with onions mushrooms and butternut squash. We had it mixed with basmati rice- good leftovers for lunch today.

Tonight we will have chicken salad sandwiches made with apples and we will have cherry tomatoes with chips on the side.

    Yay for the weekend!
