Soup for us today. I always have bone broth on hand. Turned some into veggie soup - bone broth, v-8, canned mixed veggies, corn and green beans, leftover chicken. BLT's on the side.

    Faye- YAY soup!

Meredith- the cookies sound perfect after that meal!

JDouglas- Happy Birthday to your DW!! Dinner sounds amazing... and creamed onions? Need to hear more about how to do that some time- yum!

And today/tonight we're eating Papa John's! Saw the Panthers777 code last night so we ordered our favorites- pepperoni and onion. And pineapple and canadian bacon. Surprisingly good... and needed after what has become quite a crazy month. Moving 2 weeks from today, and enjoying not cooking during the planning of it all for a day or two (although I did poach a whole chicken today for tomorrow lol!)

    Keyboard troubles again...

Tonight we're having DW's birthday dinner. Her requested menu: beef tenderloin steak, mashed potatoes, creamed onions (to which I might sneak in some baby peas), and birthday cake which I just finished. I've been snacking on the extra candied slivered almonds that I sprinkled over the top of the cake. Yum!

What's everyone else doing for dinner?

Faye, I guess we are the only ones cooking tonight ;-) We are having homemade meatloaf loaded with veggies, mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, and fresh grapes. It's been a long week so we may have some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert while watching a movie in the rain :-)

Tonight we are having...... SOUP! As I posted yesterday, I made a big batch of veggie soup Thursday night and we will be enjoying it tonight with turkey, Swiss and avocado sandwiches on wheat. And we will also be enjoying it all weekend! Oh soup, how I love thee, let me count the ways....
